Alberto Santos Dumont, the Brazilian Aviator, desired to have the ability to read the time whilst in flight. Thus the introduction of the Santos was seen in the early 1900's, as designed by Dumont's good friend, Louis Cartier. This timepiece comes the original box. A maintenance service and refurbishment and a new Cartier strap has been fitted by our in-house watchmaker. A 2 year guarantee is provided by Lunns. Image shown is of actual timepiece.
