Modern Slavery Policy

1.      Introduction

We at Lunn’s the Jewellers (known as “Lunn’s”) are dedicated to operating our Company in a moral and responsible manner.  We acknowledge the significance of upholding human rights and preventing human trafficking and modern slavery.  Our commitment to combating modern slavery in our supply chains and within our own organisation is outlined in this policy.

The company only operates retail stores and does not own any part of the supply chain.

2.      Policy Statement

We condemn all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, and any other exploitative practices.  We expect our employees, suppliers, contractors and business partners to share our commitment to eliminating slavery and human trafficking from our operations.

Lunn’s purchases its products from a select group of suppliers with whom the company generally has a long -standing relationship.  Our supply networks are mostly limited to the UK, Ireland, USA and other countries with comparatively lower rates of modern day slavery and human trafficking. Notably the majority of our suppliers are located in countries (UK, Ireland, etc.) with among the lowest rates of modern slavery and the highest degree of government response to modern slavery.

Lunn’s demands that its suppliers respect human rights and strong ethical standards.  We expect that all of our suppliers conduct their business in accordance with the following values:

Human and Labour Rights

  • No use of child labour and prohibition of forced, trafficked or bonded labour (including keeping identification or travel documents);
