Position Summary:

In a similar role that concierge plays within the hospitality industry, Lunn’s Support Team Members work to deliver the supportive functions across the business, helping to provide a world class client experience. Often high paced, this role encompasses ensuring security for store entrance is maintained and customers are welcomed warmly. The role is a vital role which integrates with all areas and functions of the retail and operational elements of the business. Support team members report to the Retail General Manager.  

Under the general direction of the Retail General Manager, the key aspects of this role are to:

  1. To Greet All Customers entering the premises
  2. Be Alert to all possible security situations, observing what is happening both inside and outside the premises
  3. Direct customers to the correct staff and departments
  4. Prepare and record parcel post for delivery
  5. Outside messages to Post Office and other services
  6. Internal and External Collections and Deliveries
  7. Ring Cleaning and ancillary services
  8. Maintain refreshment area & equipment
  9. Clean polishing rooms as required
  10. Deputise for cleaner when absent
  11. Flexibility towards staff to help the needs of the business
  12. Flexibility during working hours to maximise best use of time
  13. Undertakes Lunn’s in-house training when required
  • Other duties including recycling, stock counts, heavy lifting and delivery storage responsibilities.
  1. Any other general duties as required    

By working closely with the Retail General Manager and other team members you will play a key role in delivering excellence in customer service.

Hours

  • 5 days per week 41.25 standard hours (typically between 08.00am- 6.00pm or equivalent on late nights)
  • Monday – Sunday with rotating days off
  • The position requires flexibility during working hours to enable the best possible use of time available. There may also be a requirement for additional hours to cover late night trading, which will be treated as overtime.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of  2  years experience in a similar role in a high end  quality retail environment
  • Proficiency in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to perform in a customer-facing environment
  • Flexibility regarding hours of work

Desirable Criteria:

  • Support Team experience in the Jewellery Trade
  • Hold Valid Driving Licence
