Position Title: Stockroom Supervisor

Hours of Work:

 

  • Full Time: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours standard hours (typically 9.00am-5.15pm)

 

  • The post holder will be required to work one Saturday out of every five Saturdays with day off given during the week.

 

  • There may also be a requirement, on occasions to work additional hours as per business needs.

 

 

 

Role Specification

 

Role Purpose:

 

This role will be to assist and cover when the Stockroom Manager is not available, whilst also working in conjunction with the existing part time Stockroom Supervisor.  You will be part of a team which works with every department in the Company covering all stages of the stocking process from marking off orders through to stocking and quality checking.  Training on the specifics of the job will be given, and you will be trained by existing colleagues on the processes which need to be adhered to.

 

 

Role Scope:

 

Work within the Stockroom to ensure Lunn’s provide a world class service in both sales and aftercare to our clients.

 

 

 

 

Area of Responsibility: Daily Operations

 

Key Activities:

 

·        Opening Post and processes as appropriate.

·        Listing and checking stock deliveries.

·        Marking off stock order – match to purchase orders

·        Entering items on to the system

·        Matching off and entering special orders on to the system

·        Entering dispatch notes and posting invoices /credit notes

·        Ticketing and scanning stock.

·        Quality checking and etching of stock.

·        Liaising with suppliers regarding stock discrepancies

·        Returning items of stock to suppliers

·        General stock enquiries

·        Any other general duties as required.

 

 

Area of Responsibility: Internal & External Relationships

 

Key Activities:

 

·        Day to day management of team – workload, rotas, etc

·        Learn and carry out all stock room processes.

·        Provide cover on all tasks for other team members when necessary.

·        Liaising with Commercial Team regarding stock orders.

·        Manage process for price increases.

·        Liaise with external auditors re year end audit.

·        Key point of contact for all suppliers

·        Manage monthly stock checks process & liaise with store managers.

 

 

Area of Responsibility: KPIs & Service Duties

 

Key Activities:

 

·        Manage process for entering all foreign currency invoices.

·        Monitor goods returned and chase credits with suppliers.

·        Monitor delivery notes and follow up on a regular basis those which aren’t matched up with invoices.

·        Any other reasonable duties as requested.

·        Support in identifying training needs within your team to support development and build your teams talent pipeline.
