The name 'Lunn' is derived from the Old Norse word ‘Lund’, which translates as 'Grove' in English.

'Grove' meaning a small wood, evokes thoughts of natural splendour, a place where beauty ebbs and flows through the seasons. From all of these moments, we have drawn inspiration to present our first collection.

The Grove Collection.

The Grove Collection showcases only the finest gemstones which have been selected after many months of careful consideration. The pieces in this collection feature significant precious stones and have been expertly crafted into exceptional jewellery items. The exceptional designs have been conceived with the specific stone in mind and each have been created with a nod to its own story.

The inspiration for this ring comes from the intricate twists of intertwining stems found in Ireland's breathtaking countryside.

The 'Briar' was designed in the image of Winter. The stunning clarity of the cool diamond reflects the tranquil, icy Irish countryside.

The substantial centre stone represents the heart of the Briar, whilst the diamond encrusted shoulders and under bezel design symbolise the shapes created by its thorns.

COMPOSITION

An exceptional 'D' colour 4.01ct oval diamond centre is complemented by two significant GIA Certificated brilliant cut diamonds. Both adjacent stones are 'D' colour with VS1/2 clarity and a total weight of 0.50cts.

The Briar is set in platinum with 68 brilliant cut diamonds comprising the pavé set shoulders and band. The band is designed as an undulating, thorn-like formation, whilst the setting accentuates the beauty of the centre stone. Twisted and intertwining Briar-like branches can be seen on the under bezel.
