The name 'Lunn' is derived from the Old Norse word ‘Lund’, which translates as 'Grove' in English.

'Grove' meaning a small wood, evokes thoughts of natural splendour, a place where beauty ebbs and flows through the seasons. From all of these moments, we have drawn inspiration to present our first collection. 

The Grove Collection. 

The Grove Collection showcases only the finest gemstones which have been selected after many months of careful consideration. The pieces in this collection feature significant precious stones and have been expertly crafted into exceptional jewellery items. The exceptional designs have been conceived with the specific stone in mind and each have been created with a nod to its own story.

Seasonal Significance of
Ancient Trees

The first ring features a remarkable Green Tourmaline to symbolise ancient trees unfurling their vibrant leaves to welcome another spring & summer.

The Ancient Trees series pays tribute to the woodland and forests found throughout the landscape of Ireland. The towering trees are the epitome of wind beaten and well worn beauty, their graceful curves and angles are distinctive characteristics that inspire the diamond detailing in the shoulders of both rings.

The second ring in our series, uses Pink Tourmaline as a tribute to the autumnal Ancient Trees found across the island of Ireland. Their crisp leaves and warm tones are echoed by the combination of the Pink Tourmaline with a rich Rose Gold.

COMPOSITION

The remarkable 17.10cts Green Tourmaline is set on a Platinum band which perfectly complements the shade of the gemstone whose colour is accentuated by an oval/star cut.

The stunning 12.80ct Pink Tourmaline also benefits from an oval/star cut which is mounted on 18ct Rose Gold, emphasing the warm tones of the gemstone.

Each of these rings feature six specially hand-cut tapered baguette diamonds, with a total weight of 0.41cts, adorning the shoulders. Twenty delicate round brilliant cut diamonds, totalling 0.06cts, are intricately placed on the under bezel.

The exquisite hues of these special Green and Pink Tourmalines symbolise the ever-changing colours of the seasonal landscapes in Ireland.
