A model of perfect visual balance and clarity, the perpetual calendar Reference 5320 debuted in 2017 with a white gold case and a cream-lacquered dial. This vintage-inspired design now takes on a fresh interpretation in a white gold version paired with a gilded opaline rose gold dial. True to Patek Philippe's perpetual calendar tradition since 1941, its calendar displays are thoughtfully arranged: a twin in-line day/month aperture at 12 o’clock and a hand-indicated date encircling a moon-phase aperture at 6 o’clock. These are complemented by two circular apertures, a day/night indicator between 7 and 8 o’clock, and a leap-year cycle display between 4 and 5 o’clock, both aiding in calendar adjustments. The moon-phase mechanism is exceptionally precise, requiring a one-day correction only every 122 years.
